WINDSURFING
In the beginning, there was water. There was wind as well. Mankind felt the irresistible urge to control the water and the wind. Bam! Windsurfing was born.
Since 1987
It didn’t take long before this great sport reached Enschede and in 1987 it was decided to join forces; Drienerlose Windsurf Vereniging Hardboard was born.
With a board and a sail you can reach tremendous speeds and do some incredible tricks and spectacular jumps.

Hardboard has gathered an impressive amount of windsurfing materials over the years. These materials range from stable beginner boards to wave and freestyle boards. With only a board it would be called wave surfing, so we also have a big collection of sails, masts, and beams to complete your windsurfing set.

transport
For windsurfing we normally take the HB bus, the Hulk. If there are only a few people going on a wind surfing day, you could take the HB car, the SuSi, but it is a tight fit :)
Hardboard also has two trailers that can be stuffed with all the materials you could ever want or need!
instruction
Windsurfing requires a little bit of know-how. Thankfully we have instructors who are more than willing to help you get started.
During our introduction and instruction weekends, everyone can get familiar with the windsurfing sport.

Can you imagine anything more fun than windsurfing by yourself?!
Exactly, windsurfing together :) Though windsurfing is an individual sport, that doesn’t mean you have to do it alone!
By going together you can encourage each other to learn new things, share the transportation costs and it is much more fun!
