YES!

Every once in a while the waves on the Dutch coast are perfect for beginner surfing! During the annual wave surfing trip to for example Portugal, France, or Morocco you can show your skills on bigger waves or learn from experienced surfers!

Wave surfing uses the power of the waves to move over the water. The surfer uses no motor, kite, sail, or cable, just its board, and the wave to make its way to the beach.

Hardboard has a good combination of beginner to advanced boards which members can rent!

Bigger boards are more stable on the waves and are perfect for beginners and smaller waves. Smaller boards might be better for bigger waves and more experienced surfers as they can be manoeuvered easier.

Our bus, car, trailers and board straps make transporting wave surf boards a piece of cake!

Have you never stood on a surfboard? No problem! Hardboard organizes regular wave surfing clinics here in Enschede to explain the basic fundamentals of wave surfing before getting into the water. These clinics cover everything from how to read the wave forecast, how to paddle out, to basic surf etiquitte and surf techniques.

During surfing days there will also be more experienced surfer who are more than willing to teach you the basics on your first surfing day!

Can you imagine anything more fun than surfing by yourself?! Exacly, surfing together :) Though wave surfing is an individual sport, that doesn’t mean you have to do it alone! By going together you can encourage eachother to learn new things, share the transportation costs and it is much more fun!
